On 6 May the first batch of 1 M doses was delivered to the Dutch ministry by Intervet The minister officially vaccinated the first sheep (with the assistance of a vet) on 7 May. (click here for a small video and text in somewhat crooked google translation)

So far the vaccination campagne is a great succes. Practically all holders, commercial and small-scale/hobby, have already vacinated their animals. All 6 M doses that were delivered have been used.
Intervet has put in all its efforts to deliver all the ordered doses in May. Originally only 2 M would e available in May another 2 M in June and the last 2 M in July/August. this caused geat concern among all the holders. For how would one decide who to serve first. Fortunately it never came to a Solomon's sentence.
